Two treadles, hinged at the back, actuate the shedding mechanism. This design manages both rising and sinking sheds, ensuring even tension across the warp threads. By having some warp threads rise as others sink, yarn stretch is reduced. The loom's right treadle opens the shed, while the left closes it. Leclerc’s distinctive shaft counterweight system minimizes physical exertion, making the treadling effort comparable to that of a 4-shaft counterbalance loom.

16 and 24 Shaft Standard Equipment:

Interface Box and connecting cables

1 Stainless Steel Reed 6, 8, 10 or 12 dents per inch

Inserted Eye Heddles 12½" or Texsolv

1 End Feed Shuttle #6122-8000

12 Pirns 6¼" #6133-6000

1 Reed & Heddles Hooks 10 5/8" long #6140-1000

2 Wood lease sticks

4 Warp rods

Book: "Warp & Weave"

Assembly Instruction and Video

Aprons

2 Years Warranty on all parts including the Interface box and Solenoids

Demo Videos:

Weavebird 24 Shaft, 36"

Weavebird 72"

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0605/4625/2932/files/leclerc-looms-floor-looms-27-16-shaft-leclerc-weavebird-v2-floor-loom-34915985621124.jpg?v=1759848204
